 | The Ss.Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is the first Macedonian state University (henceforward UKIM)
in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, formed in 1949. UKIM is a higher education institution comprised of 23 Faculties, 10 Scientific institutes and 6 accompanying members. It offers a wide rang of academic degree courses leading to Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degree in all fields. UKIM has: 36 000 students from Republic of Macedonia, as well as 700 foreign students; more than 2300 teaching-scientific and associate Academic staff, and over 300 scientific and auxilliary-scientific staff at the institutes; more than 95 000 graduated high-professional staff, 90 000 with obtained Bachelor, 5000 master's degree, and over than 2000 doctors of science in all teaching and scientific fields. |
